Here’s what you need to know to get started with Advisor Branded Marketing:


Your marketing platform has been unified.

With the new Advisor Branded Marketing, your marketing operations have been fully integrated into your eMoney wealth-planning platform. This means you’ll visit your eMoney Settings on your Advisor Site (rather than the Media Editor) to manage your branding and disclaimer. As an integrated platform, sharing your Advisor Branded Marketing access is now controlled by assigning delegation privileges through the Sharing Rules in your Settings.

Additionally, the introduction animations that previously displayed your company’s logo have been removed. Now, your new videos will play on a custom web page that includes the video, your branding and matches the theme of your Client Site.

Your video URLs are going to change on January 1, 2018.

As part of the release, your video URLs will be updated – but don’t panic, they’re not changing immediately and your existing video links will work for now. If you have any videos that you currently host on your website or have embedded elsewhere, you will need to update these URLs before January 1, 2018.

To access your new URLs, simply locate the video you will be updating and click the Share link. You will then have the option to Get a link to embed. Use this embed link to update any videos on your website.

The price is changing, subscribers will enjoy a discounted rate through the end of the year.

Although the complete marketing toolkit offered in Advisor Branded Marketing retails for $1500 a year, current subscribers can expect their price to remain as contracted in their subscription agreement until their renewal date in 2018.

If your subscription ends before January 1, 2018, and you choose to renew, the new retail rate will not go into effect until the end of your annual contract period.

With Advisor Branded Marketing, we’ve introduced over 2,500 new pieces of content, including articles, PDF’s, eBooks, social media posts, emails and more. And in addition to new content, you have access to a variety of new features designed to make the process of finding engaging and relevant content that fits your marking needs simple and painless.

Here’s what you’ll find when you log in:

Content Campaigns are bundles of content that work in unison to attract, nurture, and retain a specific target market. Each month, you’ll receive a new campaign with a variety of content — making it easy to deploy a campaign across multiple channels.

Featured Content shows you the new and relevant content in your library. Not only will any new content be highlighted here, but timely and relevant content will populate as well.

Pro tip: Today you’ll notice we’ve featured all the new Client Site onboarding materials, available only to Advisor Branded Marketing subscribers, so make sure to check it out and share with your new clients!

eMoney Materials focus entirely on your clients’ experience with eMoney. So whether they have questions about Client Site features, need help getting started, or simply want to understand your offering better – you’ll have the user guides, marketing slicks, and videos they need. eMoney Materials are yet another way to differentiate your offering from the typical advisor experience.

Suggested Email and Social Media Posts make engaging with your clients and prospects a whole lot easier. With the option to send an email or post to your social media channels directly from your Content Library, the process of building a complete online presence is easier than ever.

Pro tip: Suggested content is just a base to get you started. Feel free to tailor these messages for your audience, or create your own custom version to save as a template for future use.

Content Filters are a new way to sort your marketing materials, allowing you to quickly filter not only the type of media, but your targeted audience.

With Content Filters, you can specify your Media Type (Print, Video, Social Ad, etc.), take into account their generation demographics (Millennial, Gen X, Baby Boomer, etc.), then consider your client’s financial demographic (High Net Worth, High Income Not Rich Yet, Mass Affluent, etc.) before finally selecting the best content for your audience by life stage (Single, Married, Widowed, etc.).

Some existing features have gone away.

With the release of Advisor Branded Marketing, we’re aiming to provide an integrated and seamless experience for you and your clients. In order to ensure we continuously provide you with the most up-to-date and relevant content, we have removed or retired the following items.

  • Because Advisor Branded Marketing is fully integrated with the eMoney application, access will only be possible via an eMoney login.
  • The ability to download videos is being removed. This change will allow for improved email analytics and tracking capabilities as well as ensuring ABM users always have the latest content highlighting the most up-to-date version of the Client Site.
  • With the new ability to download the original PDF files for all print materials, you’ll no longer need to visit Mimeo for printing services.
  • The Offline Demo, First Meeting Presentation, and Advocate, Teacher, Law Enforcement and Fire Fighter videos have been retired.
  • On hold audio and videos without a voiceover have been discontinued.

We are actively pursuing new and creative content mediums and innovative enhancements to Advisor Branded Marketing and we are excited to debut these to you in the future.
