In the 2017 InvestmentNews technology survey, only 15 percent of advisors said their integrations included embedded functionality or workflows. Seventy-nine percent listed “a lack of technology integrations” as a serious challenge to their business.
That’s why we’ve made integrations a key component of the eMoney platform.
Soon, we’ll release our Salesforce integration via a plugin that’s available through the Salesforce AppExchange. Featuring key data transfers between systems, the eMoney plugin is the first financial planning application on the Salesforce AppExchange.
Features available in the first release of the eMoney integration plugin include:
- Single sign-on access from Salesforce to eMoney
- Streamlined client creation from Salesforce to eMoney
- Bi-directional client information sync
- Bi-directional notes sync
- Bi-directional tasks sync
With the plugin, you can create a client in Salesforce, then click a button to automatically create that client in eMoney as well.
Client information will include their address, phone number, email, and more. And this biographical information will continuously synchronize between systems so that no matter where you update it, it always remains up to date.
There will also be a bi-directional sync of Notes and Tasks for a unified view across systems. So as you meet with clients and document those touch points, a record is kept in both systems, regardless of where it was entered.
And that’s just what’s included in phase one. We’ll deepen the integration in the future by syncing Alerts, planning, and financial data.
Additionally, if the integration plugin doesn’t meet all the unique needs of your custom Salesforce installation, you’ll soon be able to build your own integration using our open API architecture.
Stay tuned for the Salesforce integration, releasing to the AppExchange soon!
