eMoney Advisor and Capital One announced today their new API data sharing agreement, which enables Capital One customers to safely connect personal financial data with eMoney’s platform without sharing login credentials. This new partnership with Capital One reinforces eMoney’s API strategy, which was announced in November 2017. eMoney is committed to providing end-clients with greater control of their financial data and enhance their experience in the eMoney platform.

The agreement utilizes Capital One’s Customer Transactions Application Programming Interface (API), enabling customers to directly connect their Capital One account information to eMoney’s client portal. Customers will be able to use the API to connect their accounts by early summer of 2018.

“We’re pleased to launch this API with Capital One, offering added value to nearly 30,000 shared clients who access eMoney through a client portal provided by their financial advisors,” said Jess Liberi, head of product management at eMoney.

Through the direct data-sharing API partnership, customers of eMoney and Capital One will benefit from access to accurate and stable data, and increased transparency and control over how, when, and with whom they choose to share their financial transaction data.

This communication is for service purposes only. The “API transmissions update” is an eMoney Advisor, LLC service.  An institution’s transmission of data via API does not imply a relationship or affiliation with eMoney, and the institutions have not endorsed, sponsored, authored, certified, or approved this service.
