Risk Tolerance Playback Report Now Available

eMoney allows advisors and planners to present their clients with a Risk Tolerance Questionnaire (RTQ). This questionnaire is a series of weighted questions and answers that effectively assess each client’s unique tolerance for investment risk.

The report showing the results of this questionnaire was previously only available online within the eMoney application. But based on feedback from advisors like you, we’ve added a new Risk Tolerance Playback Report to our Investment Report family.

What Are The Benefits of a Risk Tolerance Report?

The Risk Tolerance report paired with the questionnaire itself provides an opportunity to monitor and, if necessary, revisit a client’s risk tolerance as their lives evolve. If you start working with a client when they are single and first begin their career, their risk tolerance may change dramatically as they start a family and age.

With this report, you can make revisiting their risk tolerance a standard part of your review process and ensure their questionnaire is revisited as necessary.

Where Can I Find The Risk Tolerance Playback Report?

This new report has been added to the existing Investments Reports family as a new default sub-report, and is available to all users with access to the Investments Reports.

This report functions consistently with our other Investment Reports and can be included in standard Presentations, sent to the Vault and viewed online.

RTQ Report

In addition, this report has been made available on the Client Portal. However, as this is a new report, it will not be enabled by default and will need to be enabled in order to appear on the Client Portal. And the client must have completed their Risk Tolerance Questionnaire for the report to populate.

To enable this report, click on the globe icon for the Client Portal and select Manage. Next, select Reports and check the Risk Tolerance checkbox before clicking Save.

As with other Report settings, you do have the option to Save for All Clients and to Save as Default if you would like to make this report available to all current and future clients on their Client Portals.
