Learn MoreeMoney has been working closely with TD Ameritrade and Schwab to ensure you have a smooth transition with minimal impact to your business.
On September 2, the TD Ameritrade data feed will convert to the Charles Schwab, requiring users to input their Representative and Account codes when prompted.
Charles Schwab acquired TD Ameritrade in October 2020. For direct data integrators like eMoney, we’re
working closely with TD Ameritrade and Schwab in preparation for when they convert the existing TD
Ameritrade data feed to Charles Schwab’s API, including changes to Representative and Account codes.
The conversion will occur September 2-7, 2023. All advisor users will be moving at one time. eMoney will
move all connections currently under TD Ameritrade via Direct Feed to Schwab Institutional–via Direct
Feed for all advisor users.
Integrations – Action Required
Connections – No Action Required
A blackout period will occur on September 5. New values are expected to show after the Schwab load completion and refresh on September 7.
Accounts previously aggregated through “TD Ameritrade (Client Access)” and “TD Ameritrade Institutional
(Investor Login)” will be available through “Charles Schwab US.” Accounts will not be converted over. Clients will need to add the accounts under “Charles Schwab US.” To preserve account history, advisors will need to unlink and relink through Charles Schwab US.
Charles Schwab has created a Transition Planning Guide about the conversion to provide advisors with further details and support. Click here to access the Schwab Transition Planning Guide.
