Below is a recap of Day One. Check out Day Two and Day Three for more coverage.

After months of anticipation (and not to mention, preparation) the eMoney Summit is finally here! And while the eMoney headquarters shivers under a surprise cold front, summit attendees arrived under a beautiful Orlando sun and began to tweet their excitement about the #eMoneySummit15.

The Summit Begins…

As expected, Day One was filled with a flurry activity. But amidst it all, and as attendees continued to filter in, there was plenty of time for advisors to network with each other, connect with our event partners in the exhibit hall, film personal videos with our Creative Director, and participate in 1:1 value proposition sessions with Academy Award®-winning film producer, Ed Saxon. And let’s not forget, #engagewithpaige for a free t-shirt!

But the momentum really got going with our Pre-Conference Training, Best Practices for emX Interactive Planning and live demo led by eMoney’s Head of Training, John Treese.

Next was the Pre-Conference Training session on Creating Efficiencies in emX, once again led by training head and all-around emXpert, John Treese Slides from that presentation are available here.

As the day progressed, advisors were able to attend two interactive workshops from a few of our top speakers.

The first, Becoming the Trusted Advisor, was led by David Hill of the Cannon Financial Institute. He spoke on the ART behind “The Trusted Advisor”, and showed how creating a powerful story and following it up with great execution can take your business to the next level. If interested in requesting David Hill’s presentation slides, please email Scott Wolf at scott@theintegratedstory.com.

The second was a Value Proposition Workshop, led by Academy Award®-winning producer Ed Saxon where he discussed why a polished value proposition statement is a necessity. Using tips from Hollywood filmmakers, he talked about how to craft a personal brand story that will build trust with your clients and prospects.

Finally, the day concluded with some valuable face time between advisors and sponsors and a dinner reception to bring everyone together.

Day One was just the beginning. Check out our twitter wall #eMoneySummit15 for live coverage and stay tuned for more updates as the 2015 eMoney Advisor Summit continues.
